The doors have finally swung open on the most anticipated new venue in Sydney this year: Barangaroo House. The beautiful new building is the home of Matt Moran and the Solotel Group's new venues, Smoke, Bea and House Bar.
We're particularly excited by Bea restaurant, which is fronted by former Noma chef Cory Campbell. Cory is bringing a vision of 'Fun Dining' rather than 'Fine dining'. The menu is light, fresh and interesting with Australian ingredients such as Kangaroo and native australian fruits. It's a reflection of the relaxed but refined dining style Sydney has come to embrace and execute so well.
With an architecturally striking building, large outdoor areas to soak up the sunshine, water views and various offerings for patrons, this project will undoubtedly do well for everyone involved and become a Sydney dining landmark.
